Animals in my backyard

by Anna Marnock

ps. If you would like to write to me, I will write back!

--------------

The first visit of wild animals we had were a family of wedge-tailed eagles who swooped right over our heads. One even landed on our window-sill!!!!!!! There is 8 of them and they keep coming back.

Another visit from a wild animal was a baby echidna who is so little that some of his spikes are still soft. He lets us pat his soft spikes but won't let us touch his feet. He loves burrowing for ants.

We also have stacks of crimson and eastern rosellas and kookaburras. The rosellas love our place because it is full of berries, seeds and grasses.
