McDonalds Hooptime

On Friday the 16^th July, Jesse, Cameron, Greg, Steven, Shane, Nathan and Jake were in the all boys team 2 who played Hooptime against other teams.

We made it to the semi-finals and got beaten by Carrington. Everyone played well and I would like to thank Mrs Key, Mrs Barton and Justin for organising it and coaching the teams.

Hi, my name is Nathan .

Last Friday, Alex, Brooke, Martin, Paul, James, Ben and I boarded a bus to the Knox Basketball Stadium in Boronia to represent our school in the McDonald’s Hooptime Competition. We played 3 games and after winning all of those games we went in to the finals and we won both of those games as well so now we go on to the next level of Hooptime. I would like to thank Mrs Key for organising the day and her son Justin for coaching us. He did a great job ….. thank you.

Nathan

Last Friday we entered a team in the Hooptime. It was a mixed team that had all these wonderful people in it – Bree-Anne, Candice, Josie, Nikki, Ashley, Ben, Ricky, Nathan, Andrew and myself.

Everybody put in their very best but when it came to the grand final, Emerald 1 were just too good for us. I’d like to thank the team, helpers and Mrs Barton for being a great coach and Mrs Key who organised the competition. Thankyou, we all had great fun.

On Friday the 16^th of July, Nathan, Laura, Samuel, Kate, Scott, Tyson, Krystal, Matthew, Brooke and myself, went and played basketball in the McDonald’s Hooptime competition at Knox Stadium.

My team was Emerald 1 and we won every game we played, including the grand final against Emerald 2. Emerald 2 put up a great game and their sportsmanship was wonderful.
