Our UK Keypals!

During the past six months we have been exchanging keypal letters with Grade 4B at Baildon C of E School, West Yorkshire UK.    We gave them some things from Australia and they did a special school assembly about us!  Some of the kids looked like us because they were wearing our school hats and they even sang Kookaburra in the Old Gum Tree.

This is not us, it's the kids in England!

We made our  webpages and history site for them and they are made some pages   for us.  We made a site about our school camp at Phillip Island and they made pages too.  One was about this place called Clarke Hall where Stuarts lived.  They learnt about what life was like in the 15th Century!!   Wow, Captain Cook came to Australia 100 years after that!

Captain Cook lived in Yorkshire, but now his house has been moved to Melbourne.   The Yorkshire kids  think we are live in a very new country.

All the frames below are from their school website and the links should work.

Class 4B are learning to make web pages so that their keypals in Emerald Primary School, Victoria, Australia can learn about them and life in our school.
