THIS IS A PHOTO OF LOOKING UP HEROES AVENUE  FROM THE ROUNDABOUT.   THIS PHOTO WAS TAKEN ON ANZAC DAY 1921 - THE DAY HEROES AVE WAS NAMED AND OPENED.  THIS IS WHAT IT   LOOKS LIKE TODAY LOOKING UP HEROES AVENUE  FROM THE ROUNDABOUT.

THE COFFEE PALACE or some other building behind the ribbon PLAYGROUND IS WHERE THE COFFEE PALACE WAS, AND THE ROAD IS ASPHALT NOT DIRT.  WE MADE THE PHOTO LOOK OLD BY USING SEPIA ON THE CAMERA.

IN 1951 IT SNOWED A LOT IN EMERALD.  THIS IS THE FRONT GATE OF SCHOOL IN 2000 ALL IT DID WAS RAIN..the gtaes are still there.

Anderson's Store and a bit of the Coffee Palace The corner now has a hairdresser and craft shop.

The old church, shops and phone box on the Main Rd Today all the trees have grown and you can only see the roof of the church - it's now the Community House.

The Police Station in 1978. Now it is used for a house...see below. Tim and Jack just wanted to be in the photo.
